The BCS School Counseling Office is offering a Freshman Parent/Student workshop. The purpose of this evening is to provide you with important information to help students prepare for a successful high school career and better assist in guiding through the college admission process. It is highly recommended for both students and parents to attend the meeting to hear the same message. Some of the most frequently asked questions to be discussed include:
What is the difference in unweighted and weighted GPAs?
What is the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program?
What is a student profile?
How can I earn community service hours?
What is the difference between Honors and AP courses?
These workshops are always informative and hopefully provide better direction for both students and parents before diving into the college admissions process. The Freshman Parent/Student Workshop will be held on Monday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium. I always do my best to keep the meeting at one hour or less. I look forward to seeing you there!

Want to Earn Money Toward Tuition?
Check out our TRIP Program (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)
The purpose of this program is to provide BCS families an opportunity to reduce their tuition. Through TRIP, gift cards can be purchased from participating vendors with a rebate. These cards are sold at face value to families who participate in the program and a rebate is given in the form of tuition credit.
Family and friends may also join the program and help with your TRIP by designating their rebates to your tuition account.
Parents planning for Christian education in the future may also participate. A TRIP account
will be set up and the monies earned will be held until your child is enrolled as a student.
Shop! - Visit www.Shopwithscrip.com to see all of the gift cards that are offered. Orders are placed weekly during the school year, or use the convenient eGift card option for instant cards. If you would like to sign up, complete the Registration Form on the next page and turn it in to Amanda Clover. If you have further questions, please contact Amanda at 941-792-5454 ext. 216 or aclover@bcspanthers.org.

COST $5/Person/Month ($50 for the ENTIRE YEAR!) This is a simple low-cost way to treat your child
