Why SIUE Freshmen?

According to the Core Survey, over 50% of college students that consume alcohol are under the age of 21.

Needs Assessment

We surveyed 11 students from a freshmen seminar class on their knowledge regarding binge drinking.

Overview of Program

We partnered with Andy King from Counseling Services.

We implemented our program four times among freshmen seminar classes and we had a total of 61 participants.

We used our first implementation as a pilot and made adjustments for our other three implementations based on our observations.
