is level, freeofutilitiesandoverhangs.Unloadpolesandtentbundles.

2.Laythecanopyout,onagroundcloth,with the top side up. Stretch andsquarethefabrictoremoveslack.Pullthe guy ropes out from the canopy.Seefig.1.

•Threadaguy rope throughahole inthe rope slider. Thread the rope endthroughtheremainingholeintheropeslider.Toworkproperly, theguy ropemust enter the slider from the samesideeach time-as illustrated.Repeatwithremainingguyropesandsliders.Seefig.2.

3. Drive the stakes 4' out and at a slightangle away from the canopy. Stake thecornersfirst,usingtwostakesplacedat90˚fromeachcorner.Seefig.1.Continuestaking until all guy ropes are at 4'. Besure to leave enough slack in the guyropestoraisethepoles.

4.Ifusingaluminumpoles,assemblethemand make sure each snap button issecured.

5. Install the side poles from theunderside of the canopy. Insertpole pins up through both thegrommetandD-ring.See fig.3.Standthepolesupata60˚anglewith their base toward the centerof thetent.Set thecornerpolesfirst,thenthesidepoles.Seefig.4.

8. If using sidewalls, clip thesidewalls to the valancerope. Sidewalls overlapapproximately 2'. Bucklethe ends to insure com-pleteenclosure.

NOTE: Severe weather can damage

tents. If severe weather isexpected,takedownthetentandstoreinasafearea.

6.Withtheperimeterpolesset,walkunderthetentandinsertcenterpolepinintothegrom-metat the topof thecanopy.With thispininplace,liftandpushthepinendskywardandthecenterpolebasetowardcenteroftenttoraisethepoleandcanopy.

•Ifyourtenthasmultiplecenterpoles,thefirstpolebaseshouldbeangledat 45˚ to center. Stake the baseof this pole so that it does notslip.Raisetheremainingcenterpoles.Whenyouhavereachedthe 45˚ angles, stake eachpole.Returntothefirstcenterpole and adjust to almost vertical.Adjusttheotherpolestoalmostverticaluntilallcenterpolesareraisedandadjusted.

•Withallcenterpolesalmostvertical,bringtheminto line.Havesomeonestandatoneendofthetent.Aligneachcenterpoleasdirectedbythatperson.Thenaligneachcenterpolefromthesidesofthetent.Seefig.5.

7. If the top of the center pole appears to beleaningtowardoneend:

•Tightenguyropesandstraightensidepoles,attheendopposite the lean, topull thecenterpolebacktotrue.

•Thenstraightenandadjusttheguyropesattheother end.Becareful, donotpull thecenterpoleoutofalignment.

• When center poles appear vertical, adjustopposing end side poles simultaneously toavoiddrawingtheentiretenttowardonesideortheother.Afterendsidepolesareadjustedandguyropesaresecured, repeatdownthelength of the tent. Again, avoid pulling ordrawingentiretenttoonesideortheother.

•Securethecenterpole.Driveastakeintothegroundnearthebase.Tieajumpropearoundthecenterpoleandtothestake.Seefig.6.
