Protective brushesIn heavy rain, the protectivebrushes stop water getting intothe cassette, especially when theWGM 1030/1000 is not fitted atan angle but rather horizontally,e.g. with a minimum tilt angle of 5°.
The distance barOn units with larger dimensions,a distance bar is fitted so as toreduce the sag in the fabric.
The support bracketsA wide selection of differentsupport brackets is available forthe WGM 1030/1000. It is evenpossible to fit them in awkwardlocations.
Little casing overhangWith its slim casing whose sidecaps only overhang by 5.5 mm,the WGM 1030 is also suitable forfitting in difficult places, e.g. inniches.

The tensioning systemIts simple but at the same timerobust design is simply captivat-ing. The Tex cord, developed forocean sailing, does not stretch andis both tear and tension proof.The combination of winding andguiding technology ensures thatthe cord is wound quietly in acontrolled manner. The tension-ing mechanism is easily accessibleand service friendly in the outerrail.The tension in the fabric can beadjusted simply with an Allen key.The refined technology ensuresthat the fabric stays permanentlytaut.(Patent applied for P 4207821.0)

Solar bendThe WGM 1000 is designed espe-cially for conservatories with a hipto the front. It combines well withthe Aruba window awnings toprovide additional vertical shade.
The carriage systemThe patented carriage systemplays a particularly importantrole on the curved unit becausethe cord is led precisely throughthe bend.(Patent No. EP 054062)
Distance barsIn the area of the bend (max 35°),the fabric is fed through a sturdydistance bar (ø 60 mm). The stan-dard internal radius of the Solarbend is 300 mm.
Side channelsOn solar bend units, the sidechannels may be in several parts.If so, the support brackets shouldbe placed at the joints.

Multi-section units for flat andsolar bend unitsBoth with solar bend (WGM 1000)and without (WGM 1030) andcoupled as multi-section unitswith up to four sections, the con-servatory awning is the idealshade for individually sized con-servatories. The small casing over-hang of just 5.5 mm even makesit suitable for fitting in niches.
Fabric rolled out the samedistanceThe precision rollers in thecarriage and the patented cou-pling system ensure that the fab-ric in all sections opens the samedistance. The fabric sections openand retract together.
The double side channelAbove a certain width, two indi-vidual sections are linked using a double side channel and drivenby one motor.

The coupling systemThe coupling system makes thefabric sections of multi-sectionunits infinitely adjustable. Equallengths of fabric look good. Theycan be adjusted and re-adjustedat any time.
Fitting the second casing with afabric roller and the infiniteadjustment of the fabric is parti-cularly simple.
The cassette covers can be openedeasily at the joint. Coupling iscarried out with a square bolt.The support provided to the sidechannels by the support bracketsis adequate as the casing is free-standing. The sturdy double sidechannel at the joint is also heldup by just one line of supportbrackets.

The use of distance bars dependson the height of the supportbrackets.
In the area of the bend a distancebar of about 60 mm diameter isused.
Where there are strong windsand a weak substructure, orsimilar, we recommend usingmore support brackets anddistance bars.
Please also note the details in thecurrent weinor price list.A bracket must be fitted at thejoints between two side channels(solar bend units).
Please note that despite theirperfection and the large quantityof materials used, the WGM1030/1000 are only sunshades.
