The slinky

Who made itThe inventers name of the slinky was Richared James.

Why they made it. It had been said that the slinky was made by a

accident. It happened one day when Richard was working on a boat that he knocked over one of the springs and watched it step down a shelf then stepped down a chair and then down to the floor, were it stood it self back up straight. He went home and told his wife about what he had seen, so he started to find different kind’s of metals to use and finally found the right one and it all started.

How was it made. The slinky was not was made by hand. It said that it

was made by a machine.

what was the first material? The first material was made out of a special kind of

metal, because they did not have all the kinds of the nice plastic we do now.

All kinds of toys When the slinky first came out people started making

all kinds of other toys like the slinky train loco, the slinky worm Suzie , slinky crazy eyes and slinky dog.
