The North Star can be found right at the edge of the Big Dipper.

It is directly above the edge of the Dipper.

The North Star is used for the beginning of the Little Dipper.

You can always see the North Star. You can see it because it never

changes spots. It will always be above the North Pole.

We care about the north star because it is used as a navigational star.

The North Star is was mostly used for slaves back in the 1650s.

We should care about the north star because it points the way to the north pole.

The North Star is about 430 light years away from the earth.

Which is about 2,522,249,280,000,000 miles away from earth.

We can see the north star because it is more then one star that formed together. The star is a bright giant or a supergiant. It is a multiple star that has a six solar mass.

The North Star is the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor.
