DARK FOREST

I had no regard for my eternal future this is a journey, for my soul’s sake, it must endure.In effort of redemption, His intentions sincere, my pilgrimage through this hellish nightmare

Here Light and Love hide, remain aloofhere darkness invades these souls to their roots

trapped here in Limbo, wretched inferno the devil’s nine layers of hell

Lust

The lusty and carnal who betrayed reason for pleasure,are caught up in this tempest of sensual displeasure.Here, there, up, down, whirling, they whirl, they strain,With not a hope of release, but even of less pain.

GLUTTONY

Those in circle three did nothing with their lives.Gluttonous incontinence consumed their appetites.They howl like dogs in pain in hell’s freezing rain,as ice, slush, and hailstones plummet upon their frames.

&WASTERS

The fourth sphere contains those who in their liveswere squint-eyed, miserly, skewed in their minds.Their love of money supersede all reason.They lost their identity, this was their treason.

Forced to roll stones in opposite bands of a circleTill they meet and crash, rendezvous, in unending cycles.One screams, “Why do you hoard? The other, “Why do you waste?Eternally they crash and meet, eternally their fate.

&SULLEN

Trapped in circle five, the sludge of the StyxLie souls of the wrathful, violent, and wretchedClimbing, then sinking, they scramble and smotherDoomed to spend eternity pulverizing one another

And here, too, you’ll find the depressed and sad-chokedIn the glory of His shining their hearts poured a bitter smokeThey said, “Once in the air made sweet by the sun”Sullen are we here, but “sullen were we begun.”
