Talk, Read, Learn: Learn how to use books to enrich your child's language and

communication skills. This interactive session demonstrates how to go beyond reading a story with related activities for children over a 4 week program. Each session involves songs, crafts

and activities around various books. Skill building includes phonological awareness,

vocabulary, narrative skills and print awareness.

June 3-24

Parent-Child Mother Goose: Over the course of 4 weeks, parents and children

learn rhymes, songs, finger plays and oral stories to help promote language and pre-literacy skills. Additional benefits include

gaining confidence, meeting new friends and having fun. Skill building can include:

vocabulary building, sound awareness, grammar, following directions, turn taking,

and narrative skills. June 9-30
