I had a fantastic time at the summer school last year, meeting and working

with so many talented people from different areas has been very inspiring.

The next generation of climate innovators

The next generation of climate innovators are just as likely to be female as male.

The students will benefit from real-world experiences in a number of industries, reflecting their own multi-disciplinary backgrounds.

They will be just as likely to have a degree in architecture as environmental science but will share an understanding of the challenges presented by

climate change and an eagerness to solve them.

To get more insight into the students’ experiences and to follow their journey during the summer school you can read

their blog posts at: climate-kic.org/journey2014

We look forward to entering a dialogue with the students at the summer school 2014

and share insights on how innovation can help create more sustainable living in buildings and mitigate climate change.

The summer school journeysTravelling by train and bus, the students’ journeys reflect the true diversity

of Europe, with climate innovators as likely to come from Hungary as the UK. But all will be global in their thinking.
