- INTRODUCTION Our Product Focus for the next two weeks is The
Business of IT. In recent years the IT landscape has dramatically
shifted. Business acumen is expected in many managerial level IT
positions as well as technical know-how. This shift was inevitable
as many organizations began aligning their Business and IT
objectives. It quickly became clear that in order for IT to
properly facilitate the business it must better understand the
business. Service Management, Project Management, and IT Management
all suddenly became as important as the company database and the
latest backup. In this Product Focus we look at the solutions that
improve The Business of IT ITIL, Project Management, and the ITMLP
(IT Management and Leadership Professional) and ITMLE (IT
Management and Leadership Executive).
