CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

Function:- It circulates blood and oxygen around the body and carries away

waste. - Without the circulatory system the body would not be able to fight

disease.

Parts of the system: Heart pumps blood vessels carry nutrients and oxygen throughout the body, blood supplies oxygen.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

•Function: • It helps you inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide

•Parts of the System: - Trachea allows air to pass, bronchial tubes where air enters the lungs, lungs bring oxygen into the body, bronchi a passageway to the lungs, alveoli tiny air sacs that allow oxygen to move between the lungs, diaphragm contracts when you inhale and relaxes when you exhale

SKELETAL SYSTEM

•Function:- It causes movement and protects your organs

•Parts of the system: • Bones help you move and protect your organs. Stores minerals.

MUSCULAR SYSTEM

•Function: - Help you move.

•Parts of the system: - smooth muscles, cardiac muscles, skeletal muscles.

NERVOUS SYSTEM

•Function:• It sends messages to your brain to know what you are doing

•Parts of the system: - brain tells you what to do, spinal cord sends messages to your brain, nerves connects your brain to your spinal cord

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

•Function: - To break down food and create energy

•Parts of the system:- esophagus carries food, stomach helps food dissolve, small intestine absorbs food and nutrients, large intestine where food is turned into waste, rectum where food comes out as waste.
