WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?OUR VISIONThe New Mexico Charter Schools Division supports and advances vibrant and innovative public schools of choice which are models of educational excellence and which cultivate a passion for learning and respect for the teaching profession. We envision our work cultivating communities of passionate learners and teachers who inspire educational excellence for all.

- CSD

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?• The whole idea is to improve authorization, increase accountability, mold the process to fit the unique- ness of schools AND decrease the annual paper flow.

- CSD

REMEMBER…• As a chartering authority…• You can design your own protocols• And you will need to work with your attorneys to develop the documents you will use with charters you authorize. • You can learn from us but this is not intended to provide legal advice regarding how your district complies with the Amended CS Act.
