Employers and employees use them for emails, on the go connection to other employees, modern means of advertising, etc.

Smartphones can be used for good but they have a lot of misleading applications which seem to be common amongst teens.

They are having a strong affect on the social life of teens.

Smartphones have the right applications to be educational but have a lot of I.Ms and a good internet browser which outweigh the educational tools.
