The ABC’s of Ms. Drew

A is for APRIL. April is National Poetry Month and one of the many things we celebrate in library.

B is for BOOKS. I love reading all kinds of books and sharing them with you.

C is for CAMPING. I like to go camping and hiking.

D is for DOG. My husband and I have a French Bulldog named Tonka

E is for EXCITED! I am so excited to spend time with you in the library.

F is for FIRE ENGINE. My husband works as a firefighter.

G is for GIGGLE. I love silly books that make me laugh.

I is for ICED COFFEE. I like to drink it every morning.

J is for JANUARY. In January, we will celebrate the Caldecott Medal winner.

K is for KAYAKING, one of my favorite activities.

L is for LIBRARIAN. I have the best job in the world!

M is for MYSTERY. I love mysterious books.

N is for NERVOUS. I always get a little nervous at the beginning of a new school year.

O is for OCEAN. I love to be near, on, or in the ocean whenever possible.

P is PHOTOGRAPHY. I love taking pictures of things I see outside and inside the library.

Q is for QUESTIONS. We will ask and answer lots of questions together this year in library.

R is for RHODE ISLAND the state where I live.

S is for SISTER. I have one sister. I also have one niece, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

T is for TECHNOLOGY. I love using library to help students learn.

U is for UP. I like staying up late more than I like getting up in the morning.

V is for VISIT. I really like to travel and visit new places.

W is for WIZARD. I like to read the Harry Potter books.

X is for X-Ray. My mom’s job is to take x-rays.

Y is for YOU. Students are the most important part of my job.

Z is for MOOSE! Not really, but that is the title of one of my favorite ABC books.
