Texture is how the surface of something feels. This may be actual or illusionary.

canvas, or board), of how something looks or feels.

What are the things an artist must look for in order to create the illusion of a surface’s

texture?

In order to figure out how to create a texture, one must first understand that it is value that

creates the texture.When looking at a surface, there are 2 things that one should look for regarding its value.
