HIGH SCHOOL

CHANGES FOR EVENTS

2017-2018

Where toolboxes are required, teams/individuals will not be allowed to share tools and/or supplies

The filming of (including mobile devices) competition entries and participants is strictly forbidden

Plan of Work Log requirements are “pages as needed”

The term “notebook” is being replaced with “portfolio”

Most events require that student and/or teams be identified by numbers only, but there are exceptions to this rule

The Student Copyright Checklist will be added to a number of the events

All entries must be complete when checked in, or they will not be judged.

At the same time, the secretary and treasurer will be given the minutes and treasury report, respectively, to review before the meeting

The number of semifinalists will increase from twelve to fifteen

The age group will be specified

Team members report to the event at the time and place stated by the event coordinator to pick up their equipment
