Student Performance Calculation

All teachers’ evaluations must be determined, through calculation, using 50% Student Growth Data (State law)

Student Matrices were developed for each teacher profile so that each teacher’s student performance data was relevant to their assignment.

• As per state law, if a teacher receives a VAM, it must be used for, at least, 40% of their overall evaluation score and, therefore, 80% of the student performance calculation.

• It is inserted into the calculation for the Student Performance portion of the Evaluation
