An increasing number of countries and regions have or are in the

process of implementing RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous

Substances) legislation. This directive restricts the use of certain

hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipments.

The RoHS 2 which became a directive (2011/65/EU) on 21st July

2011 is an evolution of the original directive (2002/95/EC) and

took effect on 2nd January 2013. As time is running short for

meeting the 22nd July 2014 deadline for RoHS 2 conversion, Tata

Elxsi has developed a methodology for a quick turnaround on

RoHS 2 conversion. We leverage our expertise in designing the
