•Goal: use soil geochemistry, aeromagnetic, Landsat lineament, and 3-D seismic anomalies to locate potential oil reserves

•Partnered with GCRL Energy Ltd and consultants

•DOE will provide $356K for the 24 month project. Fort Peck Tribes and GCRL Energy Ltd will contribute $103K in cost sharing.

WY•Goal to Create a fully 3-D discrete fracture network (DFN) model for targeting the greatest potential for improved recovery

•159 million barrels of remaining oil

•Partnered with Marathon Oil Company and the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes

•DOE will provide $365K in federal funding for the 24 month project. Marathon will contribute $205K in cost sharing.

•Partnered with Osage Tribe, Grand Resources, Inc, and Phillips Petroleum Co.

•DOE will provide $525K in federal funding for the 16 month project. OGCI, Grand Resources and Phillips Petroleum will contribute $217K in cost sharing.
