Girls are expected to be well turned out, clean and tidy at all times.
Girls in L4 - U5 should order their uniform via www.schoolblazer.com
The uniform for each year group is as follows:
L4 - L5: Full uniform.
U5: Full uniform and a black skirt suit for formal occasions.
L6 - U6: A black skirt or dress suit.
Some things to remember:
• Watches, lacrosse sticks and tennis racquets should be engraved with the girl’s
initials.
• Girls who wear glasses must have one pair with unbreakable lenses
for sport.
• Hair bands, if worn with school uniform, must be dark navy or black.

Each Lower School pupil (L4 - U5) belongs to a house which has its own colour:

Sixth Form
In the Sixth Form, there are two houses: Holmes for L6 boarding and day students
and Michell for U6 boarding and day students. The Sixth Form houses are not
assigned house colours as they are not required to wear a formal school uniform.
Please note that all new Sixth Form students must purchase a sports uniform.
The Uniform
Uniform should be ordered from the Schoolblazer website:

To begin ordering the school uniform, parents will need to follow a few
simple steps:
• Register with your details and email address and create a password.
• Register your daughter’s details including their measurements (once you have
filled out these details, they will then be saved on the system and you will not be
required to provide the information again).
• Click ‘create your account’ and then you are ready to begin purchasing the
uniform.
International Delivery
Overseas pupils ordering uniform from the Schoolblazer website may have their
order delivered directly to Queen Anne’s:

The School Shop
The Queen Anne’s School Shop is run by Thomas Franks, who also provide catering
services for the school. Some sportswear and accessories can be purchased from the
shop, which can be found in school, located opposite classroom F.
School Shop Term Time Opening Hours:
Monday - Friday: 12:00 - 13:30
Payment at the School Shop
All items must be paid for at the time of purchase by cheque, cash or credit card.
The School Shop also stocks stationery, shampoo and other essential items. Parents
and girls may open a shop account by bringing in a cheque or cash. This value will be
put on their shop account card and £30 is normally ample.
Purchasing Your Uniform
All items purchased from Schoolblazer will include a nametag. Any other items
must be clearly labelled.
Winter Uniform

Lower School Uniform List (L4 - U5)
The following items are recommended for all pupils:
General
• Geometry equipment - semi-circular protractor,
compass and rulers (15cm and 30cm).
• School bag (of own choice).
• 2 medium padlocks for lockers.
• Bilingual Dictionary
(for international students only).
Electrical Appliances
All electrical appliances brought into the school must
have a British Standard mark on the plug. All
appliances will be checked for safety, including the
above requirement. Approved plugs for use in the
UK will be available from the School Shop.
Personal Effects Insurance
Girls’ personal effects are not covered by the
school’s insurance policy and their belongings should
therefore be covered by your own home “all-risks”
or contents policy, or a specific insurance policy to
cover your daughter’s possessions whilst at school.
Your daughter is covered by a Pupil’s Personal
Accident Insurance Scheme, which is managed by
HSBC Insurance Brokers. This incurs no additional
cost as the termly premium is incorporated in our
current fee structure.
Recommended Equipment List
All sports uniform must be purchased through the Schoolblazer website, unless
otherwise indicated*. All items are compulsory unless stated as optional.
Apparel must be name tagged, but, in addition, please have your daughter’s
initials labelled or embroidered clearly on the outside of all sports clothing. Any
personal sports equipment must also be clearly named in full and watches should
be engraved with the girl’s initials.

Additional Team Kit

Senior Lacrosse and Netball teams and optional for all other teams. A Sample will
be available on New Girls’ Day and ordering details will be provided by the Sport
Department.
• Lacrosse stick and goggles must be purchased directly through UK Lacrosse
www.uklacrosse.com and samples of these products will be available on New
Girls Day. Queen Anne’s School will need to be included on the details you
provide when ordering online. Goggles must be either Cascade Poly Arc (black) or
Brine Lux (various colours). The stick must be the Brine Empress Stick and girls
may customise them by selecting pocket and string colours when ordering.
• Queen Anne’s School swimsuit for all school team representatives.
Lacrosse Mouth Guards
In accordance with guidelines issued by the governing body of sport, English
Lacrosse, and recommendations from the British Dental Association, it is compulsory
for girls at Queen Anne’s School to have a:
• Customised mouth guard. OPRO, the main suppliers, will visit Queen Anne’s
School on New Girls’ Day and during the first week of the Michaelmas Term each
year. You can download a mouth guard order form from the OPRO website
www.opro.com.
• Lacrosse stick and goggles, to be purchased directly through UK Lacrosse
www.uklacrosse.com with Queen Anne’s School typed either in the box provided
or under the purchasers name on the online ordering form. Goggles must be
either Cascade Poly Arc (black) or Brine Lux (various colours). The stick must be
the Brine Empress Stick and girls may customise them by selecting pocket and
string colours when ordering.

Lacrosse goggles are designed to be worn over glasses.
All girls should have a good supply of name tapes at school.
In the Sixth Form, girls are not required to wear school uniform; however, they
must wear suitable smart clothing.
General Attire
• Smart office wear – a dark (black, navy, dark grey) plain skirt or plain dress. Skirts
should not be shorter than 4cm above the knee.
• A dark jacket, blazer, cardigan, jumper with a collared shirt or a jumper with a
suitable jacket (not necessarily a blazer) may be worn. Outside coats must not be
worn in school.
• Any colour blouses/tops/scarves may be worn but strappy tops or hoodies are not
permitted.
• Tights – both ordinary and opaque are allowed.
• Leggings, T-Shirts and Ugg boots are not permitted.
• Canvas shoes may be worn provided they are clean, smart and look suitable with
your outfit; girls who do not meet these requirements will be asked to change
their footwear. No flip-flops are permitted in the summer months.
• During the summer, jackets may be removed; however, you must have a
suitable jacket, blazer, cardigan or jumper in school.
• For Art, you are allowed to bring in comfortable kit (leggings etc) which you can
change into before your Art lesson and then change back afterwards.
Throughout the year
• A smart black suit (jacket, skirt, trousers) or dress and suitable shoes are needed
for formal occasions e.g. open days and tours.
• School uniform kit is required for PE.
• Simple jewellery may be worn, but should be removed as required during lessons.
• Body piercings (other than ear lobes) and tattoos are not allowed.
