Syria Crisis Dashboard (November 2015)
In Syria, as part of the Back to Learning Campaign, UNICEF distributed essential learning supplies including schoolbags, textbooks and stationary to 428,315 children, including 5,732 textbooks to children living in a besieged area of Deir-Ez-Zour city. So far this year, UNICEF has distributed learning supplies to 578,000 children.
In Turkey, with our government partner, UNICEF has increased the number of Syrian volunteer teachers receiving monthly incentives to 7,629 – more than doubling the sector target for 2015 and improving the quality of education for Syrian children.
In Jordan, UNICEF is now providing winter support to 14,800 of the most vulnerable children in Jordan through the provision of winter kits including jackets, sweaters, thermals, trousers, hats, scarves, boots and gloves.

There are over 20 million children targeted with polio vaccination in 2015, mainly through campaigns**. 5 campaigns have been conducted in Syria reaching 2,989,659 children under �ve with immunization. A further 2,104,456 children have been immu-nized between Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt through 8 campaigns in the sub-region in 2015. Post campaign monitoring has found coverage ranging from 74-92%.

2015 UNICEF Results
In Syria, UNICEF supported access to formal education for 113,725 students through school rehabilitation, pre-fabricated classrooms and school bursaries.
In neighbouring countries, 532,445 refugee children have been supported to enroll in formal education.
