Run in Place Song
Begin chanting the song at avery slow tempo until
the children understand whatcomes next, and how to do
each movement correctly. Asthe children are able to
complete each exercise easily, speed up the tempo of the songand see if children can keep upwith the movements. This gamecan get very silly (and very fun)
quickly!
Plan aScavenger
HuntHave your child look around
the house or apartment for asmany objects they can find of
each color of the rainbow. Youcan even make it into a
competition to see which ofyour children can find a certaincolored object the fastest! Thiswill encourage your kids to run
around the house, keepingthem active, while also keeping
them busy indoors.
