• Increased demand from user community for remote access
• HMH growth is fueling need for:

– Rephrased – Access from Anywhere on Any Device at Any Time
• Needed to provide mobile access, without compromising on security controls

• Standardization onto the Fluid User Interface (shown previously)
• Deployment of DUO Two-Factor Authentication
• Implementation of Appsian’s Application Security Platform
The Results
• Prototype installed and functioning within 1 week
• Within 1 month, deployed Leader Self Service and Employee Self Service
• Received PeopleSoft Innovator Award at OpenWorld 2018!

The Problem
• Deployment of SES was a nightmare
• SES has been deprecated
• Wanted a search similar to Verity
• Ultimately, wanted a ‘Google-Search’ experience

The Solution
• Followed recommendation by Oracle to deploy ElasticSearch
• Deployment of ElasticSearch in conjunction of HCM upgrade
• Full deployment ‘crawl’
The Results
• Finalized deployment with application packages in less than 8 hours
• Better Than SES!
• Enriched search for navigation and attachment results
