Why Community Service is Important to Me

• I have the chance to help the community and people within the community become stronger.

• I can meet new people and have life enriching experiences.

• I can have the satisfaction of knowing that I have contributed to and helped those in the community that are in most need of help!

My Community Service Journey

• Georgia State Literary Meet 2006

• Volunteering at the Newman Center

• Apostolic Lighthouse Outreach Center Photo Fundraiser

State Literary Meet 2006

• State Literary is an event that I was involved with while in high school and I thought it would be fun to help out my fellow thespians who were hosting the event.

• We served many people from around the Valdosta community who supported the Newman Center in their endeavors.

Clean-Up Anyone?

• Stefan, Christina, and I happily assist in the clean-up effort.

Apostolic Lighthouse Outreach Center

• Apostolic Lighthouse Outreach Center is my home church and my father is the pastor. We started from the ground up with a small seed offering and now, two years later, we are having our own fundraisers to receive money for our building and other community activities.

Apostolic Lighthouse Outreach Center Photo Fundraiser

• My home church had a family photo fundraiser to help with our building fund and other activities around our church. I was happy to devote two days to this wonderful cause!

Apostolic Lighthouse Outreach Center Photo Fundraiser

• These are a few of the students my brother and I have taught in Sunday School and they also attended the photo fundraiser with there family.

My Community Service Journey

• My experiences through community service were unforgettable and I enjoyed helping the communities that I live in. Whether in Valdosta or in my hometown of Warner Robins, community service is what makes a community a better place for the individuals who live there now and the ones who will live there in the future!
