Street Art-A public expression of an idea or statement, not sanctioned by officials, using the existing aesthetics (or lack there of) of a building.

Polychromy• The use of color in the exterior of a building.

• A far-reaching idea was that the use of color was a vague form of “cladding”

Cladding• The art of “dressing” the exterior of a

building with a thin layer of another material.

Urbanism/Conclusion• Urbanism is loosely defined as the way inhabitants of urban areas

interact with their surroundings.

• Political expression effects the community.

• Functionality becomes aesthetically appealing
