What this initiative is…
• We are asking the people of Michigan what they think the role of state government should be
• We will be as transparent as possible, with full public participation
• We will include the broadest possible cross-section of citizens, business, labor and academic leaders

• We will identify the core functions of 21st century state government and make sure all state employees are focused on them
