The Battle The battle begins

and the knights attack

Darkness filling the battle field

Pawns racing toward the enemy

Bishops striking each other

Who will be victorious?

Smash,

Smash,

Smash,

Warriors falling

Sacrificed to survive

Destruction

Will the battle ever end?

4 warriors, 3 warriors…

One team wins

and the opponent declares a rematch

We set up the chess set

and the battle begins again

Dream

Say goodnight

and the impossible becomes possible

Some are happily ever after

Some are not

But which one will it be?

Bad or Good?

The question remains unsolved

Until you go to sleep

at dusk

the birds begin to chirp

Williams Brice StadiumThe black and garnet fans

Jumping and waving

Up

And

Down.

12:00 in the afternoon.

The sun is aiming down on the players.

The big hut! As the QB snaps the ball

And the crowd roaring every touchdown.

Is my

Team going to win?

The vibration as the student section goes crazy.

Garnet, garnet, garnet. Who’s the best team of all?

The Gamecocks!

Lebron James

Tall, black, and a big back.

Down the court, three sec. later,

Boom! He steals the ball.

Racing down the court he slams the ball

down and there’s another top play for him.

He makes it look easy but it’s not.

He’s a baller, a rebounder, he’s lebron james an awesome baller.

The BeachSummer time is the best time of the

year. You can go to the beach, swim in

the pool, and play in the waves at the beach.

Everywhere I look I see waves, you can go looking for seashells too.

The fish are swimming under the salty water.

The water stings your eyes like the devil stings your heart.

Boats are going down and over the waves.

Up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down.

A Nice DayThe bright sun

And baby blue sky

The sun peaking out of the clouds

The wind

Swish, swish, swish

Will the sun go away?

A warm and cool night

A nice day.

Zoe Ward’s Poems Mrs. Lee 4th Grade2012

ColorsAre you pink or green or purple or blue

Do you know what color is best for you

Are you orange, blue, teal, or white

Maybe red like dynamite

All the things that make you true

All the things that make you…you

The Tornado

Bam! Smash! Swish!

Swirling in circles like being sucked into a funnel

What is this queezy feeling

Cutting corners faster than lightning

up up

Down Down

Going over fast bumps

Then… DROP

I am in a big funnel

It spit me out

WHAT A FUN WATER SLIDE!!!
