The weatherman is saying that snow is on the way.
The sun is disappearing. The sky is turning gray.
I‟ve listened to the forecast. I hope it isn‟t wrong.
And that is why I sing this song.
There‟ll be no school tomorrow,
No school tomorrow, no school tomorrow if it snows.
There‟ll be no school tomorrow,
No school tomorrow, no school tomorrow if it snows.
I‟m wishing and I‟m hoping that snow will fall tonight.
I‟m crossing all my fingers so very, very tight.
I hope we get a blizzard & snow the whole week long.
And that is why I sing this song.
There‟ll be no school tomorrow,
No school tomorrow, no school tomorrow if it snows.
There‟ll be no school tomorrow,
No school tomorrow, no school tomorrow if it snows.

(Spoken)
And now as dawn is breaking, I jump up from my bed.
And yes I still remember what the weatherman has said.
I run straight to the window to see if he is right.

Moonlight Sleigh Ride
(Quietly… slowly… gently)
A hundred million snowflakes are whirling all around.
They’re dancing in the winter wind & floating to the ground.
And high up in the heavens, the stars are shining bright. (Ferm.)
We’ll hitch the horses to the sleigh. (Rest) Let’s ride tonight!
Moonlight Sleigh Ride
• We can feel the wind
against our faces as we ride,
• Bundled in an open sleigh;
horses up to stride.
• Lightly flying o’er the fields of
freshly fallen snow,
• Hold the reins and crack the
whip, (Snap)
• Away we go!

Moonlight Sleigh Ride
• Sleigh bells are jingling,
• Listen and hear them ring.
• (Snap) O how we love to sing,
• As we go along.
• Happy as we can be,
• Laughing so cheerfully,
• (Snap) we sing so merrily.
• Hear our joyful song!
Moonlight Sleigh Ride
• Through the icy wonderland we go,
• With horses racing onward through the
drifting snow.
• Down the hillside swiftly goes the sleigh;
• And now we see the village up ahead.
• We’re on our way!
Moonlight Sleigh Ride

Moonlight Sleigh Ride
(Girls - Window)
High above the moon
is shining in the winter
sky,
Casting shadows on
the snow, o’er the
country side.
Just a-cross the river
we will turn the final
bend.
Once around the
village square (rest)
Then home again!
(Girls - Doors)
(Rests – Don’t sing)
The moon is casting
shadows o’er the
countryside.
(Rests – Don’t sing)
And we’ll go once
around the village
square (rest)
Then home again!
(All Guys! YEAH!)
High above us in the
winter sky,
(Rests – Don’t sing)
Cross the river, turn
the final bend.
Go once around the
village square (rest)
Then home again!

Something told the wild geese
it was time to go.
Though the field lay golden,
something whispered “snow.”
(Part 2: ..whispered “snow.”)
Leaves were green and stirring.
Berries luster glossed.
But beneath warm feathers,
something cautioned,
something cautioned “frost”.
All the sagging orchards
steamed with amber spice.
But each wild breast stiffened
at remembered ice.

Something told the wild geese
it was time to fly.
Summer sun was on their wings.
Winter, winter, winter in their cry.
( Piano ending – silent/frozen.)
I‟ve got an autumn-ish feelin‟.
I‟ve got an autumn-ish smile on my face.
I‟ve got an autumn-ish glow & I like it a lot!
(Repeat)
Colors are blazing with red and with gold,
With yellows and browns by their side;
Lovely and warm & so beautifully bold.
I‟m feelin‟ so happy inside…..
