… and all who are in need of our prayers, especially
those in ill health or recuperating from illness or sur-
gery.
There are so many joyful things to get ready for each Christmas. This is such a busy time of the year for us all. Are
you able to hear God‟s voice calling amid the „to do‟ lists, the noise of the relentless advertisers, and all the spend-
ing? Being a good steward in these weeks before Christmas means setting aside time to make straight the path, to
put God first. Try „spending‟ some extra time in prayer this Advent Season.
CHRISTMAS HAMPERS This Christmas, St. Mary‟s
will assist parishioners in need by providing Christmas
Hampers. If you or someone you know from our parish
community is in need of assistance, please stop by the
parish or school office to pick up an application. The
following donations would be greatly appreciated:
1)Non-perishable Food Donations 2) Monetary Donations placed in the collection basket
in an envelope marked “Hampers.” If you would like a
tax receipt for your cash donation, please include your
name, address and/or envelope number on the enve-
lope.
3) Giving Tree Remove a tag from the Giving Tree and
return the unwrapped item to the parish or school of-
fice. All gifts and donations will be distributed to those
in need in our Parish family through our Christmas
Hamper program. All Donations will be gratefully ac-
cepted until December 19th.
MEMORIAL CHRISTMAS FLOWER DONATIONS
will be accepted for Memorial Flowers in memory of a
loved one. These donations are used throughout the
year to purchase flowers for our church Sanctuary.
Please place your CASH donation in an envelope
marked “Memorial Flowers” with the name of the
loved one clearly marked. Tax receipts will not be is-
sued for Memorial flower donations. Deadline for me-
morial flower donations is Dec. 12th.

The Project Advance Campaign 2014 will come to a
close Dec. 31, 2014. This annual campaign not only
benefits our parish but benefits other parishes and min-
istries throughout the archdiocese. At this time I would
like to appeal to those parishioners who have not yet
contributed to Project Advance 2014, or maybe have
never contributed to any of these campaigns in the past
years. Project Advance can benefit our parish needs in
a special way, primarily by helping us to pay our out-
standing debt of $256,535. Alternatively, your dona-
tion could be made directly to the “Parish Building
Fund”. These monies would be used to decrease our
debt. Thank you, for recognizing that God has given
you the blessings of faith, family and treasure to be
shared with others as well as future generations. Please
prayerfully consider making a donation at this time.
Thank you for your generosity.

FREE SKATE: Our Council invites all pa-
rishioners to attend a Free Skate Fri. Jan 2nd,
2015 from 1pm to 2:30pm at Prospera Centre
(secondary ice). We will be running a sign-up table
following all Masses next weekend (Dec 13 & 14) as
this is a private event for the Parish only. Why sign up
so soon? Well the City needs to have a idea of how
many staff to have at the concession stand and the skate
rental in advance of the Free Skate. Be sure to register
your family and join in the fun and maybe win a free
door prize. (Cost of skate rental not included).
