Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. I Peter 2:11

A letter’s Greeting and Salutation tell us a

great deal.

Tell us about the person and in this case about

their God.

Saying good-bye is not easy, but it is inevitable in

our lives.

If saying Good-bye is hard for you, Peter gives us three qualities of a

good Good-bye that are a reflection of our spiritual

walk.

Stand in Grace

I have written briefly to you, exhorting and

declaring that this is the true grace of God; stand

fast in it.

Peter knew well the gift of grace.

Grace = Getting what we do not deserve.

Jesus would not say Good-bye to Peter until

he gave him grace.

Every other world religion is based upon some sort

of Karma Condition.

Not so with you.

to you… But Jesus comes along…

…With this idea called Grace to upend all that.

Grace defies human reason and logic…which in my case is very good news indeed, because I’ve done a lot of stupid

stuff.

Always say good-bye in Grace – You have it all

over you! You wallow in it,Now give it freely!
