Smart Grid Forums Event Format
Phoenix Forums is now Smart Grid Forums. We produce content-rich, implementation focused, end-user driven
conferences for the smart grid technical community. Each of our programmes draws 100-250 of the most pioneering,
forward thinking, and motivated smart grid technical professionals, for an intensive programme of case-study reviews
and new technology assessments.
These are peer-to-peer exchanges and they are immersive, exhaustive, and outcomes focused. Over a 3-day period,
you will hear about the implementation experiences, lessons learnt, and future roadmaps of 16+ industry leading end-
user representatives for our single-track events, and 40+ for our multi-track events.
You will get the opportunity to share your technology innovation plans and invite feedback to help you stress test your
approach to ensure commercial success. And you will get the opportunity to network, problem solve, and establish
new connections with the most motivated group of end-user implementation leaders, all of whom are tasked with
new technology scouting and project specifying.
Our speaker line-ups are typically 70% end-user and our audience a minimum of 50% end-user.
Our event format includes:
✓ Case-study programmes – drawing on the insights, lessons learnt and future roadmaps of pioneering end-users
all of whom are charged with technology scouting and project specifying
✓ End-user driven speaker line-ups – selected on the strength of the projects they are involved in, their pivotal
roles in implementation decision making, and the results they have achieved
✓ Technology innovation panels – providing the opportunity to present your technology innovations and have
end-users stress test and influence your product development to ensure commercial success
✓ Roundtable discussions – enabling intimate discussions on a 1:1 basis and in small groups this is a great
opportunity to get under the skin of end users’ real-life challenges and provide expertise in an informal setting
✓ Solution zone – a focused display of the latest solutions, capped to maximise visibility and footfall for each
exhibitor, and providing a continuous touch point between you and participants across the 3 days
✓ Live demo labs – held in a private meeting room, this series of 1:1 meetings is pre-arranged by us with the
participants of your choice, allowing you to get under the skin of individual end-user needs with ease
✓ Networking evening reception – open to all participants this ice-breaking evening allows you to get to know
participants on an informal level, deepening existing connections and establishing brand new contacts
