Apply knowledge across a broad range of biological science to industrially important problems

Organise and manage science labs as regards to lab finance, store keeping, administration and maintenance

Ability and confidence to be in charge of a quality control laboratory for a range of industries.

Conceptualise and predict the feasibility of a project for a range of industries e.g. foods, fisheries, marine biology …etc, or as a research scientist in a research lab or university.

Identify challenging scientific problems and synthesise solutions for them

Grade point average is calculated at the end of every semester:= ∑(grade point x credit hours) per semester

Cumulative Grade point average is calculated at the end of a level:= ∑(grade point x credit hours) of all subjects in a level

First Probation

What will happen to

me?

If you study hard and achieve a CGPA ≥ 2 at the end of the next semester after being placed on probation, you will come out of probation.

If you fail to achieve a CGPA ≥ 2, you will be placed on Second Probation and similarly on Third Probation.

A student can proceed from Diploma level one to Diploma level two, provided he/she passes all courses of the Diploma level one and is out of probation 3.

Important to know

A student is dismissed from the college if he/she fails to come out of Third Probation.

A student must have a CGPA ≥ 2.5 to proceed from Diploma to Higher Diploma and an in-house TOEFL score of at least 390.

A student must have a CGPA ≥ 2.75 to proceed from Higher Diploma to B.Techlevel.

External TOEFL score requirements are 450 in order to proceed from Diploma to HD and 500 for progression from HD to B.Tech respectively.
