- We want you to have a fun work mission trip, but also a SAFE
work mission experience!

- Please pay careful attention to instructions given to you [and
follow them!]

- Power tools must be used under adult supervision.
- Slide 6
- ANY tools can cause harm Common things to remember are

- Do not leave rakes, shovels, etc. with ends pointing up
- Slide 8
- Watch where you lay tools Never throw or toss tools
- Slide 9
- No one is to climb up a ladder without someone at the base
- Slide 10
- Each group is to take a first aid kit with them to the
worksite.
- Slide 11
- Wear jeans, work shoes, and use gloves on the worksite. NO
open-toed shoes on the worksite.
- Slide 12
- Drink plenty of water while at the worksite & wear
sunscreen when working outdoors
- Slide 13
- Take breaks make sure you rest to regain your strength
- Slide 14
- If you feel uncomfortable doing a certain task, let the project
supervisor or an adult leader know

- Realize that persons can have accidents. If an accident should
occur [even something you think is small], alert an adult
immediately.

- Take no unnecessary risks while on the worksite

- While at Epworth Center NO running inside lodge Be mindful of
your step outside Please wear shoes at all times in the
kitchen
