Day tour of Johannesburg & Soweto

The Soweto and the Apartheid museum will be a full day tour. We can do this in 2 vehicles. The Soweto and Apartheid museum tour is R650.00 (approx. A$65) per person including the entrance fee to the Mandela house and the Apartheid museum. In Soweto we will visit the Walter Sisulu Square, (this is where the Freedom Charter was adopted in 1955), the Kliptown Youth Program, (this is the oldest shantytown in Soweto and where a group of young people started an after school program for children.) Memorial Acre, and the Mandela house. In the afternoon we visit the Apartheid museum. Lunch is for your own account. The museum takes at least 2 – 3 hours to go through. We normally let you go through the museum in your own time and then after the museum back to your hotel. It will be me and Rudie my husband that will take you on the tour. We fetch you at 9h00 from your hotel in Johannesburg and then back at your hotel at about 17h00. ------------
