Mogadishu PortThe port is not congested at present. 5 vessels are currently atberth, discharging cargo, while 2 vessels are waiting to berth.Humanitarian vessels receive priority berthing. Strong South-West winds are continuing.

Mombasa PortThe port’s bulk and general terminals are currently congested.2 vessels are currently waiting to berth at the bulk terminal,and the waiting time is 9 days. There is 1 waiting vessel at thegeneral terminal, with a waiting time of 1 day. Berthing at thecontainer terminal is immediate.

Bossaso PortThe Port is not congested presently. 1 vessel is expected toberth this afternoon. 3 additional vessels are expected at theport in the coming week. Berthing continues to be on a firstcome first served basis, although livestock and cement cargovessels are given priority.

Berbera PortThe Port is congested. High tides are currently beingexperienced. Berthing priority continues to be given tocontainerized and humanitarian cargo.

Djibouti PortThe Port is not congested. Currently 5 vessels are at berthdischarging cargo. 2 vessels transporting bulk cargo areexpected in the coming week. There is currently a shortageof trucks at the port, affecting onward transport of cargo.

Dar Es Salaam PortThe Port is facing congestion at the general and container terminals.3 vessels are currently at the general terminal, with 2 large vesselat the container terminal (covering three berths).17 vessels are currently outside the port, waiting to berth.Humanitarian vessels and car-carriers continue to be given berthing priority.The container terminal is presently receiving a quay crane (expectedto be completed this week). Sections of the container terminal quay-sidewill remain restricted as the new crane is commissioned. Therefore, the terminalcan only accommodate one vessel at a time during this time-period. 16 additionalvessels are expected at the port in the coming week.
