Time for Payment by Vendor

A vendor who receives a payment from a governmental entity, such as the Cityof San Antonio, shall pay a Subcontractor for the appropriate share of thepayment no later than the 10th day after the date the vendor received thepayment

Payments to Subcontractors are overdue on the 11th day after the date thevendor receives the payment

060 Supplemental Conditions

The Liquidated Damages shown on this form are the costthe City incurs for each day the project is late

The Liquidated Damages are not a penalty but are anadditional cost sustained by City

Contractor shall pay sum indicated on the table for everycalendar day(s) of unexcused delay in achievingSubstantial/Final Completion

Surety Bonds

Each Bid is required to have a Bid Bond issued by a Corporate Surety Company

After City Council award and at least 10 days prior to scheduled Pre-Construction Meeting,Payment and Performance Bonds must be submitted to City

Notice To Proceed (NTP) will not be issued without the proper Bonds

Contract is considered in Breach if Payment and Performance Bonds are not provided to theCity prior to start of construction

Project name must be included in bonds as specified in the approved City Ordinance. Bondsmust be provided on City forms (refer to 075 Performance Bond and 076 Payment Bond)

The bond total amount must match the total not to exceed amount in the City Ordinance

General Conditions for City of San Antonio Construction Contracts set the minimum performance requirements for the contractor

These conditions include the rights and responsibilities of the parties involved

They are attached to all City contracts and are legally binding

Program.

The Program starts with a series of classes to help S/M/WBEs write a

business plan, understand financials, learn how to market, etc.
