Introduction
KX-PRXA10 or KX-PRXA15 is Smart DECT Phone for
Consumer. This phone is a DECT phone and a Smart-
phone with Android OS.
This Smart DECT Phone is connected to PBX KX-NS1000
via Cell Station, and following operation has been tested.
1. Smart-DECT can work as a DECT-Extension for PBX
2. DECT Extension and Smart Phone Application can
coexist on a Smart-DECT handset.
In this document, the test results is reported.

server via a Wi-Fi network. DECT extensions (via a cell station) and PT were connected to a PBX under a

Test scene: An incoming call from PT Ext.101 to DECT Ext.105, during a conversation between CA RCS Ext. 207 and
Ext.208.

It is one of the Mobile SIP softphone applications designed for Panasonic KX-NS series PBXs.

RCS Ext. 207 and Ext. 208 was kept.
2. DECT Ext. 105 could reject the incoming call (DECLINE).
3. After DECLINE, the call between CA RCS Ext. 207 and Ext. 208 was kept as-is.
4. When DECT Ext.105 answered the call, the call between the CA RCS Extensions was kept but the
conversation could not be established (the call is still connected, but could not talk each other), while
the conversation between the DECT Ext. 105 and PT Ext. 101 are established (could talk each other).

Test result: 1. When SLT Ext. 107 made a call to the DECT ext. 105, the ringer rang and the incoming call screen
appeared on DECT Ext. 105. The call between U1 and U2 was kept, but it was hard to talk each
other as the DECT ringer was ringing.

3. After DECLINE, the call between U1 and U2 was kept as-is.
4. When DECT Ext.105 answered the call, the call between U1 and U2 was automatically placed on
hold. There was no Music on Hold, but U2 was able to confirm the hold status with the message on
the screen: REMOTE USER has put on hold. 5. After completing the call on the DECT Ext., U1 was able to confirm the Lync call was still placed on
hold with the message on the screen: Your Lync call is on hold. Manually retrieve the held call.

Test result: 1. The presence of U1 seen by U3 was Available. 2. An incoming call screen appeared and the ringer rang on U1. The call between DECT extensions
were kept, but it was hard to talk as the ProCall ringer was ringing.
3. U1 could reject the incoming call (DECLINE).
4. After DECLINE, the call between DECT Ext.105 and Ext.106 was kept as-is.
5. When U1 answered the call, the DECT call was kept (was not put on hold), but Ext. 105 and Ext.
106 became silent completely as ProCall occupied the resources of the microphone and the
speakerphone.
6. After completing the call on U1, the call between the DECT extensions revived automatically
