Hypothesis

If we use aluminum foil as our surface, then the car will travel the farthest.

Materials

Ramp Foam Sand paper Aluminum foil Bubble wrap Car Measuring tape

Procedures

1. Set up the ramp using three books2. Set up measuring tape on the floor3. Apply different types of surfaces:

foam, aluminum foil, bubble wrap, and sand paper

4. Put the car on the ramp and let it go

5. Measure the distance the car travels on each surface and record the results on the data chart

Conclusion

Our prediction was wrong. The car that was on the foam surface traveled the farthest.
