When the teacher is talking, listen.

Even if you have no homework listed, take 5 minutes to go over what we did in class. If you don’t understand something or have questions, you may come in the next morning and get clarification from your teacher.

Grammar

punctuation)

and neatness

may be graded.

Always use black

or blue ink or a

pencil for

assignments that

will be turned in.

Grading: 60% major grades and 40% skills development

If you do not

have your

homework, you

may be assigned

a working-lunch

and your grade

may be a zero.

Sloppy work will

be returned to

be redone.

Keep your

papers for the

entire 9 weeks.

Students supplies and materials of mine that you

may use.

Under the “Super Science” sign, you will find materials

and supplies that you may use without my permission.

In the labeled drawers you will find scissors, rulers, glue,

tape, crayons, markers, colored pencils.

Things on Ms Bush’s desk are off-limits unless you have

specific permission.

The shower is off-limits except in the case of an emergency.

Wait until independent work time to ask permission to use

the restroom.

When the overhead lights flick on and off, stop what you are

doing, stop talking and look at teacher.

Phones are turned off (not on vibrate)

Gum is a no no!

When You Are Absent…

1. Check the online calendar or ask a friend what we did

in class.

2. Check with the teacher and ask for anything you

might have missed in class.

3. Ask me any questions you may have. (8:01-8:28 am,

advisory, independent class time)

4. You are allowed one day for every day you were absent

to make up and turn in your work.

5. See me to schedule missed tests and/or labs.
