2 Peter 1:2 – “I am writing to all of you who share the same precious faith we have, faith given to us by Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, who makes us right with God.”

COMMIT your life to him

He has called us to receive his own glory and goodness! 4 And by that same mighty power, he has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in his divine nature.

Continued and consistent spiritual growth is not automatic.

It requires cooperation with God and the application of spiritual diligence and discipline

Now add to your faith:

Goodness – live a live or moral excellence and integrity

Knowledge – continuing our pursuit to know and understand God and His

Word

Self-control – controlling our emotions, our actions, and our reactions

Now add to your faith:

Perseverance – standing firm when it is difficult

Godliness – seeking to respond to life in God honoring ways

Kindness – treating people with respect and kindness and patience

Love – sincere love demonstrated through actions, not just

words
