Shri Utpal Bora, CMD, OIL ceremoniously unveiled the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen
Hazarika on 27th September 2019 at Bihutoli, Duliajan in the presence of Shri Pranjit Deka,
RCE, OIL, Shri Kamal Chandra Kataki, well known Guitarist and close associate of Dr. Bhupen
Hazarika, Oilindians and general public. Fully funded by OIL, one of the tallest monument in
memory of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was sculpted by Shri Alakesh Parasor from M/s APA Studio,
Tezpur.
