L.O: How to use showbie in the classroomOutcomes:

• Find the app
• Double tap to open. • Sign up as a student (using a non school email)

If you have used Showbie before you will need to click where it says your name and click sign out.
• Then once you have joined sign into your student account.
What you will see when you have signed up
• As a student you will have lots of teachers who will be using showbie. Therefore you need to join a class.
• When a teacher makes a class they are given a code for pupils to type in to join that particular class.

Type in the class code and you will allocated to the class that the teacher has created
• Tap on our first assignment.• Then tap on or +• Choose or take a photo to upload.• Then add a comment to explain to the teacher
what you have uploaded. • Then add a voice note to ask for help from the teacher.
Uploading work
Only the class teacher can view the files that have been uploaded.
Students can only see the files that THEY have uploaded and the comments/notes from the teacher.
Now time to sign up as a teacher• Do the same sign up process but now using
your manor email and pressing sign up as teacher.
• Try set an assignment by tapping the spanner.
As a teacher this is what you should see! One you have created your classes.
Students, you can click on their name to:• View work• Leave voice notes• Leave comments• Give them new resources to
look at
Shared folder, where you can upload resources.

To upload resources to the shared folder you need to…
Go to One Drive for business App. You will see all of your documents.
Click on the resource you want to upload to the shared folder.
Click on the three dots at the bottom and click open in another app…
Open in showbie!
It will appear in your shared folder!
Students can then open this, and choose to open it in their one drive where it can be edited.
