In sum: There is need to upscale the outcomes of the DESD to drive a paradigm shift across the education and training system. This involves changes in purpose, policy, practice, ethics, values, knowledge production approaches, teaching methods and M&E. “We have focused too much on the what and how of education, now we also must focus on the why.”
