Online Practice- Oxford Learn system

• The registration process for teachers.

Please register your account first here. If you have account already, please access to the website by your username and password.

Click Join a class or organization

Click Join to on the left

• Create your own courses

Create your own courses

Download the Excel file

1) Fill in the excel form that you download, please have your class name as: Class + class number-AEF (Level) – your nameEg: Class 191/ 192- AEF Level 3 – Jessica

2) Teacher Username should be the information when you register to Oxford Learn3) Course Name: This must be the exact name of the course within the system. (please check next slide)

Browse the excel file from your computer, then upload it to OxfordLearn system. Click Import for the next step.

The courses will be uploaded at least for 10 minutes, you will see the coursed shown when you check My courses page.

• Import your students’ list to your courses.

Please click Import new users for uploading the bulk name list to OxfordLearn.

Please download the Template Excel file.

1) Please fill in the form. You can put the students’ informaiotn in the column, and use Student’s ID to be their Username.

2) Passwords must be a minimum of 6 characters and include at least one lowercase letter and one uppercase letter, with no spaces. You can set the same password, and ask the students to update their profile. Eg. Ns2015

3) Role: Student4) Action: Add5) Class name: : This must be the exact name of the class you create online.6) Access Code: ignore it, every student has their Access code number in their student’s book.7) User ID: please key in the students’ ID.

Browse the students’ list file from your computer, then upload it to OxfordLearn system. Click Import for the next step.

The students’ list will be uploaded to the courses you create when you finish the step. Please check from Manage Classes on the left on OxfordLearn, then click Edit from the

class you create. You will see the name list on the screen.

If you find that the process is failed when you upload the file, please check the Error report to find out the error information from your excel file. Then upload it again.

• Invite your students to join your courses.

When you import the students’ list to Oxford Learn, they don’t need to register their account. Please ask your students get online at www.oxfordlearn.com, and key in the Username and Password that you create for them.Once the access to the website, the system will ask them to finish the security questions.

Then click continue for next step.

When the students access to the OxfordLearn by the username and password, then finish the security questions, they will see the course that you create for them.

Click the course

Please ask the students to enter their access code. Then they will join to your courses successfully.

• Start your course

You can start to edit you course online, please click My courses, then click the course you want to edit.

1) Click Go to content to check the course content.2) If you want to change your role as students, and check the content that you edit for them,

please choose student on the current role column.

You can set the start date and due date or end date for the practice.

The page you want to show to your students, will be set to Visible format. If you want to block any information for the courses, please choose Hidden.

You can set the deadline for the practice. The difference of Due Date and End Date is: if you use Due Date, the students can’t do their practice when expiration. So you can set Start Date and End Date for them.

Create your class description.

Confirm and export the Gradebook from Tracking function.

When you export the gradebook from OxfordLearn, the username will be the students’ ID, therefore please remind your students don’t change any information's in their profile.

Exit Courses when you finish to edit. You will go back to the My Courses page when exiting the courses.
