The Single Point Mooring ( SPM) system consists primarily of:

• APiledPLEMincludingaslidingpipingsectionwithHydraulicOperatedBall Valves.• A 6 leg equally-spaced anchoring system.• AnSPMBuoy(turntablebuoy)consistingof: o Abuoybodywithcentrewell o Aturntablelocatedonthetopofthebuoybody o Rigidpipingincorporatingacentralpipeswivel,butterflyvalvesand flexiblejoints.• Twosubmarineandfloatinghosestrings;• Dualmooringhawserarrangement,includingancillaries.• AnhydraulicaccumulatorsystemtooperatethePLEMvalves;• AnumbilicalbetweentheBuoyandthePLEM;• Hoisting,maintenance,life-savingandnavigationequipment.• Telemetry equipment

ThePLEMconnectsthepipelinewiththetwosubmarinehose.ThesubmarinehosestringsprovidetheflowpathbetweenthePLEM,thepipingsystemontheSPMBuoyandthetwofloatinghosestrings.Thebuoybodydesignincludesaskirtholdingthechainstoppers.Eachofthesixcompartmentsareprovidedwithamanhole,accessladderandsoundingpipe.TheturntableincludesheavypadeyestolifttheentireSPMBuoyincludingturntableandhasmooringlineconnectionpointsforsmallcraft. Thebuoybodyandturntableareconnectedbymeansofaheavydutyslewingbea-ring.Allmooringforceswillbetransferredthruthis3racerollerbearing(mainbea-ring)andisdesignedtowithstandthemaximummooringforce.Theturntableisprovidedwithacovertoprotectthemainbearingagainstseasprayandrain.Theturntableincludesaboatlandingplatform,pipingplatformandmooringbridleplatform.Theboatlandingcanaccommodatethemooringofsmallvessels.

Themooringplatformaccommodatesthemooringbridleandloadpin.Thedualhaw-sersystemisconnectedtothemooringbridletotransferthemooringloadfromthetankertotheturntable.

Theloadpinisdesignedtogenerateavisualalarmandaudiblealarmandenablestoprovidereadoutofthemooringloadattheshorestationviatelemetry.

TheSPMBuoyisprovidedwithnavigationaidssuchas:marinelantern,fogdetector,foghornandradarreflector.Thenavigationaids,telemetrysystemandHPUarepowe-redusingaLVelectricalsystemconsistingof:
