Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Breaking the Bread
(The pastor invokes the present work of the Holy Spirit and then praises the Trinity, concluding:) All honor and glory is yours, almighty Father, now and forever.
(Sing as directed)
(The pastor continues the thanksgiving. The institution of the Lord's Supper is recalled. The pastor concludes:) ... as we proclaim the mystery of faith. (Sing as directed)
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise God, all creatures here below: Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise God, the source of all our gifts! Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts!
Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

The Great Thanksgiving
(The pastor gives thanks appropriate to the occasion, remembering God's acts
of salvation, and concludes:)
.. as we praise your name and join their unending hymn:
Assurance of Pardon
Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners; that proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! Glory to God. Amen.
Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I Cry to You, O Lord Sermon Walter Weikel This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved:
Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised on the third day, and appeared first to the women, then to Peter and the Twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses. We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Anointed One of God, the firstborn of all creation, the firstborn from the dead, in whom all things hold together, in whom the fullness of God was pleased to dwell by the power of the Spirit. Christ is the head of the body, the church, and by the blood of the cross recon-ciles all things to God. Amen.

Almighty God, you rule all the peoples of the earth. Inspire the minds of all women and men to whom you have committed the responsibility of government and leadership in the nations of the world. Give to them the vision of truth and justice, that by their counsel all nations and peoples may work together. Give to the people of our country zeal for justice and strength of forbearance, that we may use our liberty in accordance with your gracious will. Forgive our shortcomings as a nation; purify our hearts to see and love the truth. We pray all these things through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Morning Prayer Ben Stapleton
Lord God, we wish to see Jesus. By your Spirit’s power, give us eyes to see his glory. Through Christ we pray. Amen.
Beverly Moon (10:30am) Prayer for Illumination *
Teach me Thy song, O Lord, That song which graced creation’s dawn And bid the firmament unfurl; That bathed the newborn world in uncreated light That song so bright. Teach my Thy song, O Lord.
Teach me Thy song, O Lord, That song which burst Thy Servan’t heart To beat of blows upon the cross; His pain and bitt’rest loss and death that should be mine His song was Thine. Teach me Thy song, O Lord.
Teach me Thy song, O Lord, That song which swirls to wreath Thy throne and bears the prayers of all Thine own by saints and angels raised Thy name to praise. Teach me Thy song, O Lord.

Through the summer we will use a different musical communion setting. The desire is to offer new ways of connecting with the sacrament to continue to bring vitality to the practice. We will go back to our usual setting for World Communion Sunday, All Saints, and through the Advent and Lenten seasons. So the setting you are most used to is not going away, just taking a little break.
