Thisdocumentoutlinesthestandardtimelineforhonorsstudentscompletingtheseniorhonorsprojectinaccounting,business,economics,informationsystems,orsportmanagementandisdesignedforstudentswhoarepursuingafour-yearcourseofstudy.StudentsfollowingnonstandardgraduationtimelinesareexpectedtoconsultwiththeHonorsDirectorabouthowthistimelinecanbeadaptedtofittheircircumstances.SENIORYEAR:FALLSEMESTERStudentsmustbeenrolledinHP470(2credits).Aninitialgradeof“P”(pass)willbegivenuponcompletionofthiscourseinDecember.Thefinalgradeforthiscoursewillbedeterminedattheendofthespringsemesteronthebasisofanoverallevaluationofthecompetedproject.Atthattime,thegradeforHP470willbechangedtomatchthegradereceivedforthespring-semestercourse(HP471).I. GreenLight:Inthejudgmentofthecommittee,theprojectisviableandconsistentwiththemissionoftheuniversity;alltherequiredelementsforthereportarepresentinadequateform.Workmayproceedontheproject.

YellowLight:Thismeansthatthecommitteehasconcernsabouttheprojectdescribedinthereportwhilestillfindingittobeviable,orthatone(ormore)oftherequiredelementsismissingorisinadequateinsomeway.Studentsreceivingayellowlightwillbegiventheopportunitytosubmitarevisedversionofthereport.ApprovalmustbereceivedfromtheHonorsCommitteebeforethefinalprogressreportcanbesubmitted.

ThefinalpapermustbeuploadedtoCanvasin.pdfformatby4:00p.m.onSunday,May10,2020.Besuretoemailyourfinalpapertoyourprojectmentor.
