Today We Are Presenting…

Our brief was to create an installation on the Hothouse roof.

The desired effect for Sellotape, was for people to realise that not all tapes are the same.

‘Sellotape’ wanted something that would demonstrate the idea of ‘Simple ingenuity.’

Reactions“I was really impressed with your giant spider web idea. I think it is a perfect fit for the brief you were handed- ‘Simple and Ingenious’- as to me that’s exactly what a spider web is. The decision not to go with a strapline is brave, but given the visual impact of your idea and its close fit to the brief I think this is the right decision.”- Cameron Powrie , Account Executive at DDB London

“A really engaging idea that draws the interesting and provocative comparison between the simple ingenuity of the spiders web and the simple ingenuity of sellotape. The fact that it is unbranded makes it is a bold and confident statement of category ownership. And, most importantly, it would look great!” - Tom Lloyd , Accounts Manager at DDB London
