This was such a wonderful experience. Lots of work, laughing, making friends. I truly want to do it do it all over again.

*For the past seven days, Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival gave me magnificent and intensive moments fullfiled with wonderful music, through the concerts of the Manhattan String Quartet, performances which we did not have the opportunity to hear earlier in Sarajevo – and at what level!!! Christopher Taylor above all!! I am grateful to the organizers and the Academy of Music for making such incredible moments possible for us, and I hope that this Festival will continue to develop successfully, to satisfaction of all of us! Compliments for lecturers, our Dean, and until we meet again, best regards!

Dear friends,You were beautiful and wonderful! I liked the organization of the festival so much (classes every day, renowned lecturers...) All professors that we worked with were very good, with lots of experience in performance and in work with students. I am sorry we did not have the opportunity to work with the violist of the quartet but there was not enough time to do everything!!! Nevertheless, the people in the organization were wonderful at all times... and I wish them to continue to be like that... I could see them smile and in good mood at all times (or at least they appeared like that...

Everything was great - perfect; Although, it would be great if we had the opportunity to work with all of the professors who were here. But all in all, ALL PRAISE TO YOU!!!.I hope that we shall see each other next year!!!

It was great at the Festival, I have met a lot of young people and gained so many positive experiences. It was a pleasure to work with the Manhattan String Quartet, and the organisation was so good. I am coming back next year.

(The only objection is that sometimes there was not enough cups for the water ☺)

This is my first participation at the seminar - I am thrilled and I have no objections whatsoever.

The organisation deserves only praise, and the knowledge I gained and the fun I had will be the reason for me to come back next year as well :)

It was even better than last year. Organisation was on the highest level Highly educational and unforgetable experience. Cannot wait for the next year, and I am hoping to learn even more interesting works :)

It was a great idea that each ensemble gets their own coach who would be intensely involved with the work on the piece. This was much better for our ensembles’ functioning then when we were receiving lots of different opinions. Masterclasses were excellent, a really great opportunity. All in all, a wonderful experience, we have learnt a lot and collected loads of energy for work during the entire year, and I can hardly wait that we meet again and work together.

The Festival is great! Lecturers are wonderful and so is the staff. I hope that we are going to work together for many years to come!

This is my first time at the festival, and it has fulfilled all of my expectations. I am very happy that I was a part of this festival. Work with the students was great and I am sure that I am coming back again.

This year the festival was wonderful. Praise to the organisation team and all lecturers.I liked the concerts more than anything. Well done, you are wonderful!

* This was an interesting experience, just as it was last year. Excellent experience at the Institute, interesting lectures, and in general, the Festival is much better than it was a year ago. All compliments to the staff.

*Wonderfully organized, great lectures and concerts, personaly I learned so much about chamber music playing. Most certainly I am coming back next year.

Dear staff,Everything was OK, I like that you made a schedule of places where we all gather after cocerts. That is really nice. It made a bond between all of us.

In the first place, excellent organisation. Greatest praise to the lecturers, I hope that next year is going to be even better and more interesting. I also hope that there will be other kinds of ensembles, non-standard ones, and that the string players would not be in majority like it was in previous years, because we should work on chamber music, regardless of which instruments it is about.

As every year, unforgettable...

The atmosphere was better than the last year, I also had the impression that the organisation was better as well. But as in past years, this one was also made without any omissions. The quality of the concerts was raised on higher level. Well done! A couple of suggestions: - You could arrange „forces“ in ensembles in a more balanced way.- Avoid situations where one half of the ensemble is not enchanted with the program/composition, while the other part cannot wait to play that particular piece.- Avoid the impression where (mostly because of the program) there is few ensembles which are dominating, and other ensembles appears as decoration. :)

This year, just like last year, the masterclass was excellently organized, from the finest details to the serious work and the knowledge given by the lecturers, not only the members of the Manhattan String Quartet, but also the artists that held the concerts. In regrad to the students organizers all praise, they understood their duties so seriously. See you next year. Regards :)

I am thrilled with the festival. Each year, the organisation is better and the lecturers are excellent as usual. For me the concert of Christopher Taylor will be particularly remembered. All praise to the festival! Well done!

I’m glad that I am participating for the second time at the Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival. This is a great opportunity for gaining new skills and experiences, but also new friendships. I hope that I will participate next year as well...Anthony Havelka

A great experience, great team, each year the festival is better and better organized. I hope that I will come back next year as well, because I have learnt so much.

I was here last year, and I liked it very much, but this year I liked it even more. I worked with the lecturers much more, and I learned more, not only about Brahms, but about chamber music in general. I liked the concerts, especially the more modern part, and the fact that you organized the lecture about Messiaen in order for us to understand it better. In general, I liked the way of working, different visions but also the space to express our own ideas. The only thing that I would do differently is that I would put the focus on the „older“ (Classical, Romantic) and another modern composer from the the 20th century.I really like you, and thank you for the opportunity to participate. :)

Nothing but praise for the seminar and the organization. I came to this seminar for the first time and I will most certainly come again! :)

This is my first time on the seminar and I am thrilled. The organisation is supreme, professors are enthusiastic and prepared for work and giving advices. The people at the seminar are approachable and prepared for work. There is still room for improvement, but when we compare the good and bad things, the bad ones are irrelevant. See you next year. PS. This year again SCMF was wonderful experience. Organisation was on the highest level, and all of the lecturers and performers was great and open for collaboration.

*Last seven days were a wonderful experience, that I hope to repeat next year. We do not often have such an opportunity, to work with such outstanding and high quality lecturers, and I am truly greatful to them. It has been hard work, but also it was worth it. I learned so much that will help me with my further education.

This seminar is making progress every year and I hope that this what it will continue to do!

*This Festival gave me a wonderful experience. Working with the professors was excellent and productive, even though it was so short. I hope that this Festival is going to become a tradition of this city, and that we’re further going to have the opportunity to view the world of classical, chamber music from different countries.

This year again SCMF thrilled us with its performances of Mozart and Brahms. Everything was excellent, and in the past eight days all of the students enjoyed their time here with lovely people around. All praise to the MSQ and Christopher Taylor. I hope that we are going to enjoy the next year with them also.

Another festival is behind us and anouther great experience. I am happy to have been a part of this festival and I cannot wait for the next one. I hope all the artIsts from this year to come back again, and we will for sure welcome new ones as well.Personally Chris Taylor was the biggest surprise for me, and it wasn’t even the first time I heard him. He absolutely blew everyone’s mind.Much love to our MSQ and our organisation team.
