Objectives

• Record observations of various animals found in the African Journey. Procedure

• While going through the African Journey, have students circle on the worksheet what animals they see. • When an animal is seen, have students record what the animal is doing. Recommended assessment

• Discuss which animals were seen and ask the students their ideas on why the animals were exhibiting the behaviors observed.

Extensions

• Have students observe the behavior of pets or other animals at home and why they think the animals behaved as they did.
